Every once in a while I "drunk DM" people I care about.
I much prefer that to posting thoughts on a public thread. To me, it's more personal and carries a sentiment that says, "this is a personal thought and it's just meant between us".
I'll use TG, Signal, Nostr and it may take a long time to be acknowledged or sometimes it's not acknowledged at all.
The point is; I'm thinking of that person at that moment and regardless of where either of us are on the planet, I'm sending energy outward to them specifically.
Energy captured in digital "warmth" that is delivered to the source.
