Tonight on my usual Monday evening national network radio tech segment, I'll be discussing the train wreck that Adobe has caused over the last few days by changing their terms of services, and how many in the Adobe user community are already calling this the "Adobe Apocalypse" and pledging to stop paying for Adobe subscriptions, and instead switch to other software. I'll also be briefly discussing how the push by so many firms to force users to pay on a subscription basis for cloud-based services, instead of paying one-time for locally running apps, has inflamed these situations, as well as privacy concerns regarding creators' content being viewed by these firms and potentially used for AI training.
