The river is the keeper of our stories. The stories of our land, our animals and our people.
The rocks are our experiences. When they fall in, or when we toss them in, it causes a disturbance in the river. The water splashes and ripples. Some rocks are big and cause the River to stop.
People always want to jump in to move their rocks. They fail to realize that it is the energy of the River that will smooth out the rough edges of the rock. The River will find a way around the rock. Eventually the rock becomes so small that it is forgotten and becomes a part of our story.
