When you compute that efficiency, don't forget to include the transmission losses (up to 20% depending on distances) and charge/discharge losses (typically in 10% range), and the electricity generating technology, which has high efficiency if all the extra heat can be consumed (not a problem on cold winter days) or simply put into the air, or waterways/seas. That may see an efficiency as low as 30% to well over 80%.

As usual, things are not so simple.
