We are long past the time that we stopped using market capitalisation as a measure of the value of a company. The value of a company is the revenue it makes, the profits it makes, the jobs it creates, the taxation it pays - the real contributions to a country and its citizens. Not an inflated valuation, which is only there for shareholders.
