This might be mildly controversial, but HDR images and video in non-full screen situations are just weird IMO. This photo doesn’t capture it fully, but in a dim room the HDR image on this website looks positively insane. I feel pretty much the same whenever I see an Instagram or YouTube video when it’s only taking up part of the screen.
