I humbly admit that I'm a work in progress. The whole 'who is or isn't chosen' idea, I think, has cleared up for me today.
The prompt was from studying John 15 this week in BSF, but my conclusion is coming from the years of my reading.
I always wondered who the chosen ones were, who is benefitting from predestination, am I chosen, am I not chosen?
But, I realized today that God creates each of us in the womb, and therefore, he's already chosen all of us. He chose us at our beginning. Whether we choose God back is up to us, but we are all chosen to be with God.
This also fits another reading from John Eldredge this morning.
Which completely escaped my brain as I'm writing this, but when I find it, I'll reference it. 🤦♂️
