I wouldn’t do that. As it is over reach - source of wealth questions are normal…. I encounter them all the time. But asking for evidence - like a payslip etc etc, isn’t required, what does that prove? Are you asking for a loan … that’s a no no - if the regulator is asking for that, I’d question their approach.
