Ah well, every language has things that an individual will find odd. In Swedish, it was the odd back-of-the-throat accent emphasis on some vowels in some words. In Japanese... ehhh, Kanji. That's super hard. In French, it's probably the difficulty in distinguishing homophones while listening to someone speaking.
