“Old art” is an interesting concept. As you pointed out, old physical art is valuable. I guess I can’t separate being a buyer from being an artist - I like the date as a reference of where that artist was at that point. Some artists have changed their style so much in the years I’ve followed them that I prefer their earlier works.
