Nah. Lightning has evelved. You'd only do that if you were setting up a 'public' routing node for fun and profit. Or, grey hair and ulcers, depending on who you ask.
You want a private lightning wallet and you'll use a liquidity service provider LSP, to automagically open and manage your channels.
I personally use Zeus. There's still a cost to open your channels, but you don't have to commit funds into the channel like you would with a routing node. You can just put your nostr zapping Bitcoin in it for instance and zap away, and receive zaps in to it too.
Warning! Zeus is truly non-custodial. You must backup your seed and wallet yourself. No one can help you if you don't save your backups.
