ok im getting into higher philosophy here and im honestly not good enough at explaining what i even mean, but lets try anyway.
in my eyes, life is based around a cycle of 3 things.
creation, stagnation, destruction.
the idea of "just stick with the established, we dont need anything new" fundamentally disagrees with me.
the idea that our culture reaching a point of stasis where people dont even try to create anything new might as well be the point where it has reached its end.
stagnation has always been seen as one of the worst things that can happen to a people.
its always either followed in a heroic turnaround, or a devastating fall.
yea i really dont have what it takes to explain this properly, but my point is that if we ever give up on creating new things, then we might as well be spiritually dead.
