I understand what you are saying and I do believe is a normal reaction because it's like you somatize the hostility while caring so much about that thing and doing something constructing and instead being seen a scammer..

I am noone but only thing I can say is that is very good for yourself already being able to acknowledge and see what triggers you, that is the first step to let it go.

When you noticing spending too much energy on something that you don't see constructive, change focus, and still build.. your work amd your mental status will prove yourself better than anything else.
