The non-French-speaking Fiancé is in Paris, staying next to the Place de la République where there have been pro-Gaza (and a few other causes) demonstrations today. I just explained to him via text that basically the French have protests all the time. Yes, with a shitton of cops and even tear gas sometimes. It looks terrifying to an American, but it’s just another day in Paris in many ways. They have it down to an art.
We could learn a lot from them.
