If you buy BTC from a non-KYC exchange and store it on a cold wallet, people knowing your balance means nothing.
Monero is just a little easier to use privately, but that doesn’t mean BTC cannot be used privately. The additional privacy of Monero is only useful if you are buying illicit digital goods.
