I value equality in general for all walks of life, and I believe titles like “feminist” actually create more of a divide, an “us” vs “them” which can become an anger-fueled over-correction that breeds a false sense of empowerment. At least, that’s how a lot of people out there have begun to use such things. When it comes to the Divine Feminine, I’m not referring to just women. The Divine Feminine, just like the Divine Masculine, is an archetype that anyone can connect with within themselves. We ALL have masculinity and femininity within, doesn’t matter what you are or decide to be on the outside. Duality exists inside each individual and it’s a balance of archetypal energy that makes us whole. To me it’s not about picking sides and giving titles or labels. It’s about connecting with whatever is calling to you at any given moment to learn what you can from the teachings of its symbolism. For me at this time I have been experiencing a connection to the “divine feminine” which simply means a deeper connection with the shadow self, one’s intuition and inner vision, and one’s deeper emotions. It’s all about going inward, which is a practice anyone can experiment with. Anyone can connect with this archetype and learn something within themselves. It’s an internal spiritual process.
