I have come to similar conclusion from different perspective. To validate some expensive stuff is worth the money and actually helps take quite some time. It's usually pretty complicated stuff.
By picking the low hanging fruits I got big value for very little effort.
In my case:
- I stoped eating drinking junk
- I void seed oils as much as possible
- I eat primary food, I avoid processed stuff
- I have stop eating fried shit
- I have reduced sugar in diet drastically
- I am trying carnivore
- I have limited alcohol drastically
- I am not lazy and I walk when I can
- I track amount of my sleep to make it 7.5h/day
- I have limited some stress in my life
I am still struggling with:
- Limit coffee
- Sleeping regularly (bedtime at ~same time)
- Not camping phone screen before bedtime
- Limit stress even more
I don't really plan to:
- Meditate, I find it just super boring and waste of time for me. But I really believe it may be very useful for others.
