What is "npub"? (TH/ENG)
จากโพสต์ก่อนหน้าที่เราได้ทำความรู้จักกับ nsec เบื้องต้นกันมาแล้ว บางคนอาจจะได้ยินอีกคำหนึ่งที่มักมาคู่กัน นั่นก็คือ npub ลองมาดูกันว่าจำเป็นต้องเก็บเป็นความลับเหมือน nsec หรือไม่?
npub ย่อมาจาก Nostr public key หรือ "กุญแจสาธารณะ" ของบัญชี Nostr ซึ่งมีหน้าตาประมาณนี้ : "npub1k00eugm8sfze2z9ceecd93ap62dkekrsun3dhg3cxmdgdxn5j7sqtm9dde" (จะเห็นว่าหน้าตาคล้ายๆกับของ nsec แต่ขึ้นตัวด้วยคำว่า npub)
npub ถูกสร้างขึ้นโดยใช้ Algorithm ในการเข้ารหัส และแต่ละบัญชีจะมี npub ที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของตัวเอง โดย npub ถูกสร้างมาจาก คีย์ส่วนตัว (nsec : nostr secret key) ซึ่งเป็นคีย์ลับที่ไม่ควรแจ้งให้ใครทราบ
เนื่องจาก npub เป็นคีย์สาธารณะ จึงสามารถแชร์กับใครก็ได้ เปรียบเสมือน username ที่เราสามารถส่งให้กับผู้อื่นเพื่อ add friend นั่นเอง
Tips : เราสามารถหา npub ของตัวเองเพื่อแชร์ให้กับผู้อื่นได้ที่ไหน?
Ans : โดยปกติแล้วใน App ของ Nostr's Client จะมีหน้า Profile หรือ Setting อยู่ เพื่อกดเข้าไปเราจะเห็น npub ของตัวเอง แล้วกด copy หรือแชร์ QR Code ให้กับเพื่อนๆที่เราต้องการ Add ได้เลย
ย้ำอีกครั้ง *โปรดดูให้ดีๆ npub แชร์ได้ nsec แชร์ไม่ได้*

npub, or Nostr public key, is a unique identifier for a Nostr account. It is a 32-byte hexadecimal string that can be used to verify the identity of an account.

npub is generated using a cryptographic algorithm, and each account has its own unique npub. npub is derived from the account's private key (nsec), which is a secret key that should never be shared with anyone.
npub is a public key, so it can be shared with anyone (like username for add friend).
Tips: Where can I find my npub to share with others?
Answer: In the Nostr's Client app, there is usually a Profile or Setting page. You can find your npub by clicking on this page. Then, you can copy or share the QR code with your friends.
Reminder: Please be careful. You can share npub, but you cannot share nsec.
