Some Pixelfed history that you may not know:
I registered pixelfed.org on Apr 15 2018, 2 days before I announced it
I knew I wanted to build a federated IG, but I spent hours picking a name and making sure the .com was available.
I registered the domains/github org before I wrote a single line of code, this was a side project habit of mine at the time
What I never expected was for Pixelfed to be more than a throwaway weekend project
