Gardeners, I was tending to my oak bonsai this morning when I noticed the rim of the pot was sticky to the touch. Looking at the plant I don't see anything unusual and there's no stickiness on the leaves (its young so not much to inspect), so no sign of aphids...yet. I'm concerned this could be something that affects the base and roots though, given the proximity. Any suggestions?
