The only way Meshtastic will be usable in the EU is if the area gets somewhat saturated with hardware clients. The EU imposes this ridiculously low hourly rate limit, meaning using MQTT to hop through in unadvisable as the MQTT saturation will quickly hit your limits and make the whole idea unusable. Turning MQTT off insures you won’t be reaching anyone unless they’re super close to you. Turn MQTT on and the chat room explodes for minutes until you hit your limit. Then, nothing. 👎🏼
