I muted this acct but worth mentioning why this reply is so effed. Yes, we can talk about this because our oligarchy is not (yet) a full autocracy (note the difference between these terms). But researchers who helped unearth just had their lab dissolved. So we are living under elements of autocracy, and trend lines point to the threat of full autocracy. The main weapon against full autocracy is being willing to see our oligarchy for what it is & name the names
