Il y a douze ans jour pour jour, le 29 août 2011, était créée la première plateforme de poker en ligne utilisant le bitcoin : Seals With Clubs. Celle-ci a fermé le 21 février 2015.
En revanche, ce n'était pas la première partie de poker mettant en jeu du bitcoin. Il faut remonter pour cela au 20 mars 2010 avec la partie organisée par BitcoinFX et remportée par dwdollar !
