I believe that the market itself inevitably becomes monopolistic, or "centralized" in libertarian/crypto speak. Voting with your dollar violates "one person = one vote". I believe instead that a mix of direct and representative democracy is the only way forward in our government and society so people directly have a voice in the affairs of government, instead of monopolies and centibillionaire oligarchs. The market is good for non-essential goods like books or something, and it woefully fails when it comes to things like housing or insurance. The economy should be a combination of democratic planning for societal necessities and a market with workers cooperatives competing to make better products in less essential products.
