hmm I believe there's a potential for computing devices to evolve into something more simplified on the UI side but do you think the tech is already there to actually have a better UX? especially given speech-to-text isn't perfect as yet? I'm that guy that uses speech to text on a daily basis (in ChatGPT and messaging apps), but still often have to revert to correcting bits and pieces manually.

I do like the idea of an open personal device though. would be great if folks can replace batteries, and do other kinds of upgrades / fixes. actually there was a modular phone startup that google bought and killed it though.
