You’re talking about creating outrage and directly feeding it to people you knew would be susceptible to it. That would be a lot harder to do than individuals who did follow her and now find outrage with her comments.
They then spread it on to their like minded followers and it’s not hard to understand how it would easily escalate in the same fashion as an algorithm.
