Generalising about rich people is completely wrong. Not all rich people are evil, just as not all poor people are stupid or lazy. What is certain is that rich people have a great advantage at influencing the direction of the world and society, this is why most bad things on a big scale are done by rich individuals.
I can assure you that during Covid there were a lot of miserable pieces of shit doing bad things to a lot of other people because they gained some power and authority, even while being poor as they deserve.
