today's #Linux adventures 🐧
- on my main #Gentoo box, i updated my kernel to the latest available (7.1.5), it was pretty easy but i always feel scared doing it 🙀
- on my #VoidLinux machine, i installed gnome (although, the cursor is a square for some reason)
- i had to delete a bunch of files, because my disk ran out of space (discovered when the nvidia-drivers update failed)
- copied my kitty config file over to my void machine (i was just using the preinstalled terminal before that point) using one of my favourite-named commands `scp`
