Adding:
In a statement to Rolling Stone, Wood said that he had been informed he was “going to be subpoenaed as a witness,” but had no other information on the matter.
Not that I take statements to the press at their word, but this is consistent with the facts we have: that he was listed as a state witness.
So this could mean that the prosecution concluded they can call him, he'll show up, and provide valuable info.
