There is a very real limit to how much cash we can hold and pass on. Anyone who tried buying a house with cash could attest.
The limit is not legal, it's physical, and it adds important, impossible to ignore friction to cash transactions.
If we are talking "digital cash", I would argue we need to make sure similar friction exists.
