Earlier this year, I helped my parents put some of their money into a redeemable GIC at 4.65%.
This morning, I see the same product is now offered at 5.5%.
So, like any son would do, I redeemed the GIC and repurchased the exact same amount.
The interest that was paid out?
I smash bought #bitcoin for my parents and sent them right to cold storage.
This way, they get exposure to a great asset without having to take on too much volatility.
I hope these sats will help with pay for many expenses down the line.
Cheers.
