i replied saying i was really happy he enjoyed it. he then sent another message that almost made me cry, saying he knew i was behind it, + how it meant so very much to him.

i kinda don't want to talk about this more, as it struck such a chord, but i found it really beautiful to receive such a vulnerable message. it kind of felt like having skipped several friendship levels, if that makes sense.

i really hadn't expected any of this to happen, besides a nice evening. ☺️
