"content": "I replanted the snow pea bed in beets today. I’ve been snapping off the vines and bringing them in the house for the rabbits and guinea pigs, so there were only a few more vines to grab. This bed is in a good state to try no-dig principles: the soil is rich loam, and the peas left their nitrogen fixing bacteria in the soil. I’d planted the peas in a double row, but the beets should be fine in a triple row, so I didn’t have to disturb very much. I left most of the roots undisturbed, but this one that got yanked out has the coolest nodules! I buried it, and the last bits of pea greens, in shallow trenches along the bed sides. \n#gardening #bacteria #nodig\nhttps://kolektiva.social/system/media_attachments/files/112/709/254/705/523/980/original/702e351e78c9c891.jpeg\nhttps://kolektiva.social/system/media_attachments/files/112/709/255/041/004/630/original/8800a229d25e093d.jpeg\n",
