It's like if we were always trying to be somewhere else, doing something else, instead of just enjoy and experience the things we are supposed to do right now.
phones are good for that, and more specific, social networks are good for that. Maybe the reason we're seeing a decreasing level of usage on #nostr, is because we don't really want people to be hooked in an endless scroll.
scrolling feels good in the beginning, as any other addiction. The fact that we don't want that on #nostr may lead people to perceive it as less valuable, as a first impression.
but that doesn't matter, I still see that as a win. A decentralized network that doesn't manifest a hidden interest in hooking me up to it and allow me to express freely is as powerful as it is righteous. #keepbuilding
