Some of the right wing takes are sensational, sure, because the left wing for some reason made the stupid decision that rather than saying “we are also strongly against trafficking,” their take was going to be “lol, not a real problem.”

I can’t for the life of me understand why they let something that one-sided become a wedge issue. The incomprehensibility of that stance actually doesn’t accomplish anything but helping the right wing, especially since we’re at a point in history where trust in governmental institutions is at an all time low and it’s the perfect breeding ground. Epstein news is still coming out, North Korean women that escape to China are immediately trafficked, etc etc etc
