Came back from Nigeria to New York State. Winters were brutal but y'know, sorta tolerable.
Didn't learn to hate winter until Dad moved us to Chicagoland.
Finally moved to western Wisconsin. Stunningly beautiful winters.
Turns out I didn't hate winter at all - I just hated driving in Chicago winters.
