Firm disagree. What happens when soldiers won't accept a fiat currency from a government for their pay? What happens when police officers won't accept a fiat currency for their pay? What happens when janitors won't accept a fiat currency for their pay? Sure, the government can print literally as much as they want. They could print enough to drown in it if they so wished to. But if nobody will accept it, then they have nothing.
