For ₿itcoin to become a currency, we must spend it. Until now, I’ve used the spend and replace method as a way to grow the network. That’s all about to change. If you’re a strike (npub1ex7…vyt9) user, you have the ability to load your wallet with fiat, then pay a lightning invoice. While this doesn’t sound like much, it’s really a big deal. You see, when you do this, You never own the sats meaning you don’t have a taxable event to worry about. Strike handles all of this in the background.
I’m sure plenty of you know about this already. But as I’ve learned during my time here, there’s something new happening all the time and it’s impossible to know everything.
