I tell my friends not to get involved with the bitcoin community, as they are the opposite of what the community preaches.
I tell them only to stack sats, self custody, and ignore the noise. They are the people a lot of yall hate on everyday, I don’t want their perception of Bitcoin to be rattled and defines by that noise.
I guess bitcoin appeals to a certain type rn. I may be largely “that type”, but I don’t buy all the narratives. More bitcoiners should push back against bitcoin dogma. e.g. it’s okay to be vegan if that’s your thing, even though it’s not my thing
