I'm reading Garrett Graff's wonderful "Watergate: A New History," and it's such a delightful telling of all the oddball morons in the Nixon White House. But it's eye-opening realizing how those guys were the height of competence, thoughtfulness, and craft compared to Trump and the total shitshow staff he surrounded himself with.
