The Tascón list was compiled by National Assembly member Luis Tascón at the request of Hugo Chávez, containing identifying information of 2.4 million Venezuelans who signed a petition for a Presidential recall referendum, a right guaranteed by the Constitution
It was used to fire Venezuelans from government jobs and deny them employment and government services
