#WritersCoffeeClub Day 22 Are there any books that should be banned, or is book banning always wrong?
It depends. In the USA, we are seeing flaws in our “free speech” freedom via the hairbrained ideas published on TikTok, Twitter, & fringe publishers. We must figure out how to avoid these platforms from manipulating the collective consciousness. But those are not books, they are ethereal.
Books typically require more investment of time and thought to read than short form media. 1/2
