The powerful people at the head of the current system have a vested interest in keeping you away from Bitcoin.
Why? Because Bitcoin gives power back to the people.
Bitcoin takes power out of the hands of governments and bankers and puts it back in the hands of the people.
Governments and bankers don't want to lose their power, which they use arbitrarily and unfairly. So everything is done to discourage the general public from buying Bitcoin.
You've heard the same false clichés over and over again:
"Bitcoin is dangerous"
"Bitcoin is used for illegal activities"
"Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme"
"Bitcoin is an ecological disaster"
"Bitcoin is too volatile"
...
I'll stop here, but this list of lies is very long.
Here I'll just dwell on the cliché "Bitcoin is too volatile".
Volatile with what? With the price of Bitcoin expressed in fiat currency!
But when it comes down to it, the ultimate goal of the Bitcoin revolution is not to measure your Bitcoin in fiat currency. The goal of Bitcoin is to enable you to do without fiat currencies.
We're still a long way from that, but it's the goal.
Bitcoiners want to foster the creation of a circular economy based on the Bitcoin system. As such, the Buy And HODL Bitcoin pattern must be gradually replaced by the Spend and Replace Bitcoin pattern.
This is the key to the future success of the Bitcoin revolution.
If we fail to do this, Bitcoin will remain a formidable store of value, but we will have missed something.
If you continue to focus on these clichés propagated by those who have a vested interest in seeing the Bitcoin revolution fail, you are wrongly focusing on the ambient noise rather than the real signal: the Bitcoin revolution.
