speaking of law enforcement and the hassle of running a public file hoster, here’s some trivia:
being in the EU, i now have to send yearly transparency reports about the number of takedowns requested by law enforcement, action taken, and preventative measures implemented that year. i also need to retain the affected files for some time, and make them available upon request.
however, this only encompasses terrorist content. not CSAM or anything else.
