They violated it at a time and in a situation where they anticipated that I would simply cave and be compliant. They were wrong and, bc they ultimately do love me, they never did it again. It was painful but worth it. You are worth it and teaching your daughter to know how to set and maintain healthy boundaries is AMAZING parenting.
