Doesnt quite work like that. You get both the btc return AND the interest return, because the underlying is denominated in btc. You take on the risk premium, or the bank does for you ie the default risk. It's if you need a bit of cash and dont want to sell, and are not risk averse. I think people tend to make bad choices in that regard, but, it's a model.
