What kind of bullshit "JUSTICE" does Merrick Garland see in allowing the facilitators of insurrection to skate - alongside their boss - who will skate because Merrick took so fucking long to do his fucking job.
I still have absolute faith in The American People - well, the electorate - to be our democracy's last line of defense. Considering the trend lines since 2016 - the only election Trump "won" - it's not a question of whether or not Trump will lose, but by how much.
Alas, Trump's playing for the Electoral College - that vestige of slavery - to put him back in office and crush our democracy out of existence. How painfully ironic it would be if our original sin - not outlawing slavery - was the thing that killed us in the end.
We need to not only win, but win so convincingly that every bit of Republican reaction to this loss can be silenced with a quiet "Oh, shut UP!".
If the Democrats keep the presidency and take back the House - I would bet on it - and hold the Senate - another thing that I would bet on because of Dodd - then Trump's gambit will not only fail but fail spectacularly.
IF the Democrats can trifecta November - turn out big and win even bigger - We The People will have EARNED our way to Justice.
And that Justice will be served - fairly of course - upon every single player in the January 7 insurrection... and every single player who knew all along that Donald Trump was a traitor who "Putin paid".
When we get to the part of the program where Justice finally does get served? We may never stop serving it - because there'll be so fucking much to deliver.
