Feedings have been a tradition since 1947 when a local floriculturist began coaxing wild flocks away from his flowers—to the delight of spectators, leading to establishment of a 🦜 sanctuary. A milky “wombaroo” feed is a protein shake served in metal bowls held aloft to invite close encounters.
