I read somewhere that the vast majority of a plant's mass comes from the air via photosynthesis. If true, that means that landmasses can conveivably rise by folliage accumulation alone, in addition to tectonic and volcanic activity. And that rising CO2 levels should accelerate this process.

Which also makes me think about all those buried ruins in South America feet deep in forrest undergrowth, how much of that landmass grew from the same process, and how fast that rate was when CO2 levels were purportedly higher.

So it seems to me that the Earth is a lot more self-correcting than what the climate-alarmists would have us believe and, unless sea levels somehow rise far in excess of these corrections, most places won't experience such a comparative rise in lieu of the above.
