If he runs outside while I'm bringing stuff through the door I don't have to worry
I never have to clip his nails because he keeps them worn down from running around and digging outside
I spend less on litter because he likes to use his pee to mark his territory
He gets good exercise and entertainment chasing birds, bugs, etc.
He makes friends with the neighbours
